How to Set up your Staff Training Schedule

With over 100 staff training courses available, where should you start? You will find below several suggested staff training plans which can be used in your center. As we add new courses, we will update these training plans. [Click here to go directly to the Staff Training Schedules]

It is not the goal of Global Teen Challenge to set up and run your staff training schedule and teach the courses for you. Our goal is to put the materials in your hands so that leaders in your area can provide the training in your local ministry.

At the present time, most courses are not set up for self study. A local leader with experience in Teen Challenge will be needed to teach these courses in your setting.

Our long-range goal is to create multiple delivery systems for these staff training courses so they can be used in more than one way. We do plan to design a self-study version for many of these courses, but that is in the future.

We are continuing to add new courses and expand the materials available for each course, so check back soon to see what is new.

Suggested training schedules for your staff

The suggested training plans are listed below that can be used for staff in your ministry. All the courses listed in these plans have materials on this website.

These suggested plans do not include all the 100+ courses now available on this website. You are free to add to or change the courses included in these training plans, based on the needs of your staff.

A sample certificate is available for you to award to all staff who complete each of these training schedules or modules. A link to the certificate is at the bottom of each training schedule. Feel free to personalize these for your own ministry.

Quick tip: Each of the courses listed on these schedules have the Course number listed first. For example, the course T510.01 Basic Introduction to Teen Challenge Ministry.

T   The “T”  tells you it is in the “Staff Training area of the website.

T5   The first number tells you which Track it is--in this example T5 is Staff Training Track 5, “The Teen Challenge Program.”

T510  The first 3 numbers tell you which Topic it is--in this example T510 is “Residential Programs,” the 10th topic in Track 5.

T510.01   The last 2 numbers (after the dot) tell you which Course it is--in this example T510.01 is the course, “Basic Introduction to Teen Challenge Ministry,” the first course in Topic T510.

In all the courses listed in these suggested Staff Training Schedules, both the Topic and the Course are listed.
