Committed to Freedom--Staff Training Course
This course is designed to train staff on the basics of ministering to those who have a background of sexual abuse. It is divided in two parts. The first part is Committed to Freedom Staff Training Course. This is recommended for all staff, even if they do not teach the Committed to Freedom Curriculum.

This teacher certification course is designed to train staff on how to teach the Committed to Freedom student curriculum, which is designed to be used in the Personal Studies for New Christians educational program. The CTF Teacher certification application must be completed--it will guide the teacher through the different parts of the training.

This 5 hour seminar is for clergy, spiritual directors, staff and leadership volunteers of congregations provides information, direction, and insight regarding appropriate care for those in your congregation and community who struggle with issues of abuse. Your leadership will learn effective, sensitive, and appropriate responses to difficult questions and issues that abuse survivors and their families struggle with. They will be exposed to a comprehensive understanding of the healing tools available to help you reach your overall outreach goals within your congregation and community. This seminar will provide Teen Challenge staff with excellent insights on how abuse affects a person. It will also provide tools for how to move beyond the damage of abuse.
