This curriculum is typically completed during the first 4 months that a student is enrolled in the program however, relevant effective discipleship curriculum is critical for the entire one-year program. ASNL is a collaborative library of ideas to serve that purpose.

Building on the foundation that the primary goal of Teen Challenge is to fulfill the Great Commission and make disciples, this course explores many of the scriptures where Jesus talked about what it means to be his disciple. This course also explores 4 aspects of the power of discipleship in transforming the life of the Teen Challenge student. The key application is that Teen Challenge staff need to have a comprehensive Biblical mindset of what it means to be a disciple and how they can help Teen Challenge students become effective followers of Jesus.

This course is not designed to make you an expert at Christian discipleship in one hour. However, the goal of this workshop is to cast a vision and inspire each Teen Challenge staff to set as their personal goal to become an expert at Christian discipleship. This session lays out seven key steps a person must take to begin the process of becoming an expert on Christian discipleship. One must master each of these steps to truly become an expert on Christian discipleship.
